This office handles the probating of estates and serves as a collection agent for the State of Pennsylvania for inheritance tax
payments.
Q: Do you have my will on file?
A: No, we only have wills in our office of deceased people who had their estate probated.
Q: Must we open an estate for our deceased family member?
A: Not necessarily. If the deceased owned property in Clinton County, had any type of securities, cash, checking or savings
accounts - it is recommended to contact an attorney for advice.
