Treasurer's Office is the Tax Collector for the City of Lock Haven County
real estate taxes.
The Treasurer is also the Tax Claim Director and sends out all past due (delinquent) real estate taxes and conducts the Tax Sale held each September. Collected in the treasurer’s office are all delinquent real estate taxes. Each year the Clinton County Tax Claim Bureau holds a tax sale of all properties that are at least two years delinquent in paying real estate property taxes. If the property taxes are not paid by the sale date these properties become available at a public auction held in the third floor conference room of the Clinton County Court House.
