OUR HOMETOWN HEROS Clinton County has 19 volunteer fire departments that respond to 911 calls. With the exception of the three paid drivers from the Lock Haven City Fire Departments, all responders are volunteer. These individuals give unselfishly of their time to respond to calls when there is a cry for help. They attend training, hold fund raisers, and maintain equipment to ensure that when there is a call for help, help arrives. They risk their own lives to save and protect the lives and property of their neighbors. No financial gain is received for the risks these individuals take, only the satisfaction of a job well done or a life saved. Please support them in their endeavors and remember them in your prayers.
