Conservation Field Day

This is a field day in September for all sixth graders of Clinton County. Students attend eight different stations throughout the day learning about various conservation related topics from natural resource agencies and organizations. Presentations include snakes, fish, wildlife, forestry, nutrition, water quality, soils, hazard cleanups, and boat safety. The program this year (2000) will be held on September 20th and 21st, will accommodate approximately 750 students, and will be held at the Clinton County Fair Grounds in Mackeyville.
