What is the Reach Out Mentoring Program?

Clinton County’s Reach Out Mentoring Program is a community based mentoring program that provides young people, in need of additional support & friendship, with a caring mentor and a positive role model.

Who Needs A Mentor?

Reach Out Mentoring Program of Clinton County is designed to be of greatest assistance to young people who are in need of additional adult support. The youth we serve are aged 6 to 17 years old and must be a resident of Clinton County.

Who Are Our Mentors?
A mentor is a volunteer mentor, a positive role model and a supportive friend.

A mentor is someone a young person can trust, talk to, learn from and build on skills to more fully participate in the community.

Mentors must be 18 years or older to volunteer.
How Much Time Will it Take?

Mentors commit to spending quality time with a young person for about an hour 2-4 times a month for a minimum of 12 months.
