The Treasurer Department is the Tax Collector of County real estate taxes for the following municipalities: Beech Creek Twp, Beech Creek Boro, Castanea Twp, Colebrook Twp, Dunnstable Twp, East Keating Twp, West Keating Twp (Also West Branch Shool Taxes for West Keating School District), Loganton Boro, Mill Hall Boro, Porter Twp & City of Lock Haven.

The Treasurer is also the Tax Claim Director, sends out all past due (delinquent) real estate taxes and prepares for the Tax Sale that is held each September.

Collected in the Treasurer Department are all delinquent real estate taxes.

Each year the Clinton County Tax Claim Bureau holds a tax sale of all properties that are at least two years delinquent. If the property taxes are not paid by the sale date these properties become available at a public auction held on the third floor conference room of the Clinton County Court House.
