All adoptions that are handled in the Clinton County Court System are filed in our office. These records are "sealed" for the protection of all individuals involved.

Q: How can I find out information about my own adoption?

A: Your attorney must file a petition with the Court System listing the reason(s) your case should be opened. Filing a petition is not a guarantee that your request will be honored.
